Q: What can I expect from this game?

A: It's a traditional turn-based game, and you just kinda play it if you want(?) Though if you play Arknights you'll find a lot of cheap references to it lol

Q: Is there any progress system or something to make your characters stronger so they can fight harder enemies?

A: No...

Q: So is the game even possible?

A: Trust me bro I play-tested all the packages, you can beat them all in normal mode and the majority of them in challenge mode.

Q: What does the game name mean?

A: I don't know man I needed a name so I just used a laptop's name which I don't even own for it...

Q: Why are the menu's background Minecraft?

A: I needed a menu background and it was the fastest to just enter my old mc world and take some screenshots.

Q: What are you even trying to accomplish with this...

A: It's just a personal project for fun...

Seriously speaking, it was really fun making this. I have always liked how Arknights designed their enemies' abilities and wanted to try to implement it myself: some turned out good, some didn't, some had to change in one way or another, but I still ended up with something pretty functional (if you are comfortable with your units just casually teleport in and out that is) 

As for why the game is turn-based, it got traced back to when I still learnt to print texts out to the console; turn-based was the easiest thing to express with just texts, so here we are. It can hold most mechanics pretty well, and does not require too much action to play so I think it's all good.

Short things short, the game itself is lacking a lot in the visual aspect and might not be suitable for you if you enjoy a more simple & casual game. It has a lot of reading and random janks, but is something I truly love. So, if you still decide to give it a try: Thanks a lot!

• Hugest credit: This game is heavily influenced by Arknights, a free-to-play tactical RPG/tower defense mobile game developed by Hypergryph.
• Tech: The game was made using Unity Engine.
• Assets:
  • The majority of the game's assets (character sprites) were taken from Arknight PRTS Wiki.
  • The in-game soundtracks and majority of the SFXs are by Arknights - MSR.
    
  • My friend who helped with the battle backgrounds.
  • Some images were taken from The Noun Project.
  • Other assets I drew myself using Adobe Photoshop.
